Continually losing network connectivity
Before I post my HJT log I want to tell you gents just how much I appreciate your hard work. Your tireless effort is bringing peace to pc and user alike and for that you have my deepest respects. Keep up the great work.
Lately, started late last week, I've been having issues with dropping network connectivity. Roughly every half hour I'll lose network connectivity and have to do a power cycle to get it back up. The latest version of AVG is the only item I've installed recently. A red flag was raised when I ran Spybot and nothing was found. Normally, there are always one or two items in the report. Re: Continually losing network connectivity
I'm not seeing anything there to suspect malware as the reason for your connectivity issues. The machine seems well protected.
This file can be used maliciously, which is why it gets flagged: C:\WINDOWS\system32\madCHook.dll If you don't know why it's on the machine, or what application uses it, rename it to .old and see if one of the applications complains. I'd suggest it may be an issue with your networking hardware, or the networking protocols, or the ISP. For those issues, please seek assistance in one of the other sections of the forum.
