Re: Issue with ADWare...Please help
ok, that makes sense.
just two follow up questions: 1) Is firefox a free internet browser? does it function the same as IE essentially? and i will not have the back button issue if i were to use firefox? 2) How would i turn the ad blocker off in IE if i wanted to? the main issue i have is that whenever i click back (and the ad blocked and in my back browser button), nothing happens and i essentially have to right click to go back. just gets irritating, though i understand what it's doing. |

Re: Issue with ADWare...Please help
LOL, most don't look back once they've used Firefox.
For those few sites which require IE to render properly, there is an addon for Firefox, IE Tabhttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419 As far as IE goes....did you install the MVPS hosts file? If so, this is not in IE itself. Here's some info about a hosts file http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_file
