C:\QooBox\ is ComboFix's quarantine folder. Please try deleting it.

Re: Popups freezing computer! Here's my DSS log
With that gone, you're machine is cleansed. Now that your system is clean, kindly follow these simple steps in order to keep your computer clean and secure:
Update all these programs regularly. Make sure you update all the programs I have listed regularly. Without regular updates you WILL NOT be protected when new malicious programs are released. Follow this list and your potential for being infected again will reduce dramatically. Here are some additional utilities that will further enhance your safety.
To find out more information about how you got infected in the first place and some great guidelines to follow to prevent future infections you can read this article by Tony Klein - http://computercops.biz/postlite7736-.html After doing all these, your system will be optimised against future threats. It's okay to delete the Hijack This folder in a couple weeks if everything is working okay. Have a safe & happy computing day. ![]() Please respond to this thread one more time so we can mark this thread as resolved.

Re: Popups freezing computer! Here's my DSS log
When I click on Mozilla a box pops up saying this:
Your last Firefox session closed unexpectedly. You can restore the tabs and windows from you previous session, or start a new session if you think the problem was related to a page you were viewing. It gives me the choice to Restore Session or Start New Session. I click on Start New Session and then 2 boxes come up. The box in the foreground says Firefox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenice. There's the option to either send or not send the information. The one in the background is the Mozilla Firefox Quality Agent which wants a description of the problem. |

Re: Popups freezing computer! Here's my DSS log
Which version of FireFox are you using? Have you attempted starting it in FireFox's Safe mode?

Re: Popups freezing computer! Here's my DSS log
FireFox's safe mode is not the Windows safe mode. It's is a debugging startup mode where all the extensions you have installed are disabled and the default theme is used.
To access FireFox's safe mode, go to Start > Run - type in Firefox.exe -safe-mode

Re: Popups freezing computer! Here's my DSS log
No, it won't start in safe mode either. It just does the same thing and says it has encountered a problem and needs to close. Should I just uninstall it and put it back on fresh?
