Problems with IE
Hi everyone, I am new here, and I am having issues with my homepage, it keeps resetting to www.msn.com and if I go into internet options and set it back to what I want it set to, it will not adjust. I have run adawarese and Norton, and avg antivirus, none of these are finding anything. This is a copy of my hijack this file.
Thanks in advance for the help. Oh, and just an after thought, I am having the same problem on my lap top. It started on there first. Scott Quote:

Hello scott46493 and Welcome to Tech Support!
Please try the following: Open your Norton Internet Security, click on options at the top, then click Norton Anti-Virus. Look on the left side with the 3 columns. Under the Internet section at the bottom is Home Page protection. uncheck the box at the top, and change your homepage. Let me know if this helped.

I unchecked it, but do you know how it was changed if I didn't do it? It was working fine up until a few days ago, and then changed the homepage and wouldn't let me change it back. Or is it one of those Norton things? hehehe
Thanks Susan, Scott |

I don't have Norton so I cannot tell you. I just have seen posts where people have had problems with changing home page with having Norton, SpySweeper and other programs that are designed to help keep the home page from being changed.
Is your problem solved now?

it is, the only thing I don't like is that it's not clicked to keep it from being changed. But I guess it's a small price to pay. :D
Thanks for the help Susan! Did you see anything in my log that seems unusual that might free up space or be a potential problem? |

Can't you uncheck that in Norton and then change your page to your home page you want in Internet Explorer and then check the Norton option again to keep your home page set?
