2GB RAM has insufficent system resources

Good day.
I'm having trouble on this new computer I built.
The the main computer specs are:
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 motherboard, Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2GB PC6400 memory, 250Gig HDD, GeForce 7600GT video card.

Nothing is overclocked and for some reason my system keeps crashing if left on for a long time. I am downloading a series with bittorrent client, but I've downloaded the same thing before and it never gave me the same problems.

Am always getting an error with my download and my internet connection is lost. Ctrl+Alt+Delete doesn't even work during the crash nor does anything else. I get "inusfficient system resources exist to complete the requested service" error.

As I said... I haven't run into this problem with my system before... and can't figure it out now.
Here is my log:

Good day Pancake, and thanks for the speedy response.
One of the first things I do when I install a new OS is set it to show hidden files and folders... though the spoolsvc.exe is what I've been thinking has been giving me the major pain along with something else that isn't common.

I am at work now... as my internet at home is down, but when I arrive later I shall do the suggestions you gave me and post a new log.
*note: I had downloaded autopatcher from my other system to save me time from downloading all the updates from msn website... so I don't know if all those hot fixes contributed to the problems. If all else fails... I suppose I can go back to before installing them and see if I still have the same issues, BUT for now I will just do as you recommended and post my new log in a few hours.

Thanks.

Just posting a BIG THANKS Pancake.
System seems to be running fine now... hopefully it stays this way, but I'll know 100% for sure after another day or 2 of testing.

Again thanks for the help/suggestions and I'll post again if the same problem is back within the next 2 days.

Cheers

Ok,glad to help.....

If you wish to do so, here are a few things that you can do that will help keep your computer a bit more clean and secure..

If you have not already done so, you might want to run Disk Cleanup and run it in each user's profile:

Run Disk Cleanup
Click "Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup"
Please make sure the following are checked:
-- Downloaded Program Files
-- Temporary Internet Files
-- Recycle Bin
-- Temporary Files
Click "OK" and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

Now that you are clean its now is a good time to flush out your restored files.

To flush the XP System Restore Points:
(Using XP, you must be logged in as Administrator to do this.)
Go to Start>Run and type msconfig Press enter.
When msconfig opens, click the Launch System Restore Button.
On the next page, click the System Restore Settings Link on the left.
Check the box labeled Turn Off System Restore.

Reboot. Go back in and turn System Restore ON. A new Restore Point will be created.

How Do I Protect My Computer Against Future Malware Now I'm Clean.

NOTE:You may have already taken some of these steps.

Update your anti-virus software & Windows operating system on a daily or weekly basis. Microsoft also distributes updates to its operating systems. These updates fix security holes or other problems that make a computer susceptible to security breaches. How to update your Windows operating system

Know What You're Installing
Check the source.
To avoid malware, make sure your software comes from a reputable source. Be particularly suspicious of sponsored software (software that relies on advertising) or software that claims to speed up your Internet connection.

Use Custom Install.
If you feel comfortable with software installation, you can choose Custom Install (as opposed to Typical Install). Custom Install allows you to select only the software components you wish to install, and leave out others (such as potential spyware).

Modify Security Settings (Internet Explorer 6)
To reduce the risk of installing malware, you can set Internet Explorer to high security mode. To do so:

Open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools > Internet Options….
On the Internet Options screen, select the Security tab, then select the Internet icon (if it is not already selected).
Under Security level for this zone, click Default Level. Set the slider to High.
Note: You may have to lower the security level to view certain Web sites.
Next, select the Trusted Sites icon. Under Security level for this zone, click Default Level. Set the slider to Medium.
Click Apply, then OK to save the changes.

Some Recommended Protection Programs

Each tool has its own strengths for identifying and removing specific types of malware. To thoroughly check your computer, its recommend that you use more than one malware removal program. Don't forget to back up your data files before starting a scan!

Some available programs are:

Ad-Aware
SpyBot Search & Destroy

Now that you are clean, to help protect your system I recommend that you get the following free programs:
SpywareBlaster to help prevent spyware from installing.
SpywareGuard to catch and block spyware .
IESpy-Ad to block access to malicious websites so you cannot be redirected to them from an infected site or email.
WinPatrol to monitor any changes that programs make to the registry.

Before using or purchasing any Spyware/Malware protection/removal program, always check the Rogue/Suspect Spyware List. It will save you a lot of grief, as well as money if you are thinking of purchasing. Here is the link:

If you want to know just how effective your anti-spyware program is, or how well any of the "rogue" programs listed at the above link work, check this for an independent comparison of several anti-spyware programs:

lol
I must look like a noob, but am not really.
Yes, I know all about these things already... and use other software to do some of those tasks (I don't trust the built in XP Disk Cleanup).

I usually clean out the system at least once a week (all temps, restore points, caches, etc). I don't use IE at all (been using firefox since it was mozilla).
Scan my discs regularly and defrag them every week as well.
And I ALWAYS scan anything new I download with virus scanners (nod32, kaspersky, bitdefender), and use BD as my firewall.

I do maintain quite a clean system... and always make an acronis true image of my C drive (where my OS is installed) before I update it or install anything new... just incase.... but this time it was an all new build (computer) and I had used autopatcher to load all the new updates and hotfixes for windows... which I believe is the source of the problem... but I had installed photoshop and other things I need now often, so I was a bit lazy to use acronis to restore my computer and have to re-install all those apps and plugins (as I didn't think autopatcher was at fault at first). There must be a few bugs and malware in there that were unoticed 'cause ad-aware and sd14 and spysweeper, etc did not find anything before I installed autopatcher.

I guess I'll just go back to downloading things via admin options from msn update site and ALWAYS make restore/image points before any new installs.

Take care and thanks again. Enjoy the rest of the technical problems people are having here lol (am so glad I left tech support 4 years ago).

Thumbs Up Resolved

Ok, everything appears to be working fine now. I had a similar error come up, but after swapping my memory modules... everything is running smoothly.

Thanks again for the help. Consider this thread/problem resolved.
