Strange spyware- Titan Shield Antispyware
I've notice this strange spyware has installed itself on my computer. It run numerous pop-ups warning me I have spyware, spyware has been detected, etc. When you click on the pop ups it takes you to antispywarebox.com and asks you to purchase Titan Shield Antispyware. I tried running Ad-Aware but this didn't fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated. I've included my HiJackThis log-

Hello and welcome to TSF
WARNING - You are running Hijack This from a temporary directory. It needs to be in a permanent folder. Please go into Windows Explorer, click on C:\, then on the folder Program Files. Click on File > New > Folder and call it HJT , or another name of your choice. The program creates backup files that we may need to use later. If the program is in a Temporary folder, files may be deleted by you or automatically if your system is set to empty temp files. Please print out or copy this page to Notepad in order to assist you when carrying out the following instructions. Go to My Computer >Tools >Folder Options >View tab and make sure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled. Also make sure that the System Files and Folders are showing / visible. Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files option. Please do NOT change any of those settings until we finish the fixing process. Download Ewido Anti-Malware
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Ewido When you have finished updating, EXIT Ewido. Download and install CleanUp! but do not run it yet. Reboot your system in Safe Mode (By repeatedly tapping the F8 key until the menu appears). Open Hijack This and click on Scan. Check the following entries (make sure you do not miss any) R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file) O2 - BHO: adobepnl.ADOBE_PANEL - {2513A321-CB50-4C5F-91C5-80342AFACFB1} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\adobepnl.dll O2 - BHO: (no name) - {77701e16-9bfe-4b63-a5b4-7bd156758a37} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {e52dedbb-d168-4bdb-b229-c48160800e81} - (no file) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Adware.Srv32] C:\WINDOWS\system32\runsrv32.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Transponder] C:\WINDOWS\system32\susp.exe Please remember to close all other windows, including browsers then click Fix checked. Delete the following Files indicated in RED if they still exist: C:\WINDOWS\system32\adobepnl.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\users32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\qjrkvy.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\susp.exe *WARNING* Cleanup deletes EVERYTHING out of temp/temporary folders and does not make backups. Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu). Set the program up as follows: *Click "Options..." *Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!" *Put a check next to the following:
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program. Do NOT Reboot/logoff when prompted. Run Ewido with it's updated definitions:(...it's important that all windows must be closed)
** Ewido scan would require at least an hour. Reboot your system in Normal Mode. Perform an online scan with Internet Explorer with Panda ActiveScan ** click on "Free use ActiveScan" located on the top right hand corner
Now give us a new HijackThis log, along with Panda ActiveScan’s log, so we can make sure your system is clean.

Thanks for the help. Problem seems to have been solved. I've posted the latest HiJackThis log as well as the ewido scan report. I'm currently having problems running the Panda scan. It starts to download the software and seems to freeze. The scan never starts.

You're welcome.
Good job done so far! Create a new System Restore point
Please follow the instructions outlined here to clear Sun Java's cache. As an alternative to Panda ActiveScan, please go to Kaspersky Online Scanner. Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
* Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop. Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter" and a text file will appear which lists infected files (if present). Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply. IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other option until you are directed to do so! Also, please provide a NEW HijackThis log.

Hello again!
Please print out or copy these instructions/tutorial to Notepad as the internet will not be (while in Safe Mode) available to you at certain points of the removal process. Make sure to work through all the Steps in the exact order in which they are listed below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before moving on with the fixes. A. Reboot your computer in Safe Mode.
B. Open the SmitfraudFix Folder, then double-click smitfraudfix.cmd file to start the tool. Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press Enter. Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish. You will be prompted : " Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry?" answer Yes by typing Y and hit Enter. The tool will also check if wininet.dll is infected. If a clean version is found, you will be prompted to replace wininet.dll. Answer Yes to the question " Replace infected file?" by typing Y and hit Enter. A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process, if you computer does not restart automatically please do it yourself manually. Reboot in Safe Mode. The tool will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: (C:rapport.txt) or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply. ______________________________ C. Clean out your Temporary Internet files.
Once it's finished Cleanup will ask you to logoff/reboot. Please select NO as we will do this later. Next Click Start, click Control Panel and then double-click Display. Click on the Desktop tab, then click the Customize Desktop button. Click on the Web tab. Under Web Pages you should see a checked entry called Security info or something similar. If it is there, select that entry and click the Delete button. Click Ok then Apply and Ok. Empty the Recycle Bin by right-clicking the Recycle Bin icon on your Desktop, and then clicking Empty Recycle Bin. ______________________________ D. Close ALL open Windows / Programs / Folders. Please start Ewido, and run a full scan.
Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save Report.
______________________________ E. Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd Select option #3 - Delete Trusted zone by typing 3 and press Enter Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE-SPYAD, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE-SPYAD, run the batch file and reinstall the protection. ______________________________ F. Once you reboot...... Perform an online scan with Internet Explorer with Panda ActiveScan ** click on "Free use ActiveScan" located on the top right hand corner
G. Then post the following logs in your next reply... Panda log Hijackthis log Ewido log C:\rapport.txt (log from the tool)
