Please help this is really starting to annoy me. The last I knew I was infected with a.exe & Security tool virus. At first I couldn't run hijackthis, AVG virus scan, system restore or malwarebytes. Since then whatever I may have done has gotten Hijackthis to work. However I still have other major issues at hand since these viruses.

Please be aware I can not see my menu bar at the bottom of the screen. I also can not see any desktop icons nor can I open many programs as I get the following message:

"windows cannot access the specified device path or file. you may not have appropriate permissions..."

I have to use the task manager to find my way around.

Combofix
Download ComboFix from one of these locations:

and rename it to father.exe before saving it to your desktop.

Double click on the renamed ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.

• When finished it will produce a log at C:\ComboFix.txt for you
