Re: need help rundll error DID 1ST STEPS
Hello again, shellyrbaker. Do you mostly use Firefox? Is IE slow as well as Firefox?
Go to Start > Run and copy/paste the following into the Run box and click OK: cmd /c del /a/f/q "C:\Program Files\zlsSetup_70_483_000_en.exe" A DOS window will open and close again, this is normal. ------------------------------------------------------ |

Re: need help rundll error DID 1ST STEPS
Hi Chemist!
I do use primarily firefox. I just tested IE and it is just as slow. The first thing I ever noticed that was slow was itunes. I think I explained before, but after downloading an update, the next morning itunes would not play a song without dragging so bad that you could not even play it. Ever since then I have had the very slow system problems. I think I also explained this but when you go to the task manager and look at the percentage of system use it is usually at 99 or 100% if the computer is running slow and this is when there is only one program open. I have uninstalled itunes at this time as you previously instructed me to do. What should I expect from the thing you told me to paste into the run box? Have you been able to determine if my computer is infected with something? Thank you for your help!!! |

Re: need help rundll error DID 1ST STEPS
Hello again, shellyrbaker. You're welcome!
The 'Run' command only deletes that one file ESET found. We didn't remove anything significant here. Your logs are clean. Your problem seems to be beyond malware. How much RAM are you running? What process is using up all your CPU? You may have to seek help in one of our other Forums ------------------------------------------------------ |
