Hi,
I'm writing because my computer had a serious Trojan case. Actually, I am using my other computer, because although I seem to have gotten ridden of the Trojan with Simply Super Softwares Trojan Remover, it didn't fix the computer as such. The computer says all the time that a handle is invalid and doesn't let me do even the simplest tasks as opening Windows Explorer or looking at the System for Driver Signings etc. It seems to be sort of deepening - if I start the computer, then it lets me do a few things and then starts saying, that handle is missing. So I could check out the hardware settings and saw, that everything that has to do with anti-virus and internet, is down - drivers are missing, the computer will not let me go into internet either. I am quite perplexed and don't know where could I even get nearer to the problem... I thik the Trojan destroyed lots of dll files, as they are missing - each time I try to start something, then the computer says that either a handle or dll file is missing. Or both. My op system is Windows XP. Last edited by Keefan; 10-13-2009 at 02:40 PM. |
