I can't open MS Access - I get the following message:
"A system error occured, or there isn't enough free memory to start MS Access. Close unneeded programs and try again"
I looked this up yesterday and support.microsoft.com said to reregister the .dll files.
That didn't work. I have been having problems with Spyware - Ran Adaware SE yesterday and cleaned up.
Downloaded Hijack This today and here is the log. Any help anyone could provide is appreciated!

Please update your version of hijackthis as your using an old version!

Before attacking an adware/spyware problem with hijackthis make sure you have already run ad-aware SE with VX2 add-on cleaner, Spybot Search & Destroy (with updated database) and CWShredder as these programs will clean a lot of the crap out first. All links to programs are in my signature. Ok..on to the log…..

Open My Computer>>View>>FolderOptions>>View Tab>>Advance Advanced settings box, under the "Hidden files" folder, select Show all files>>Apply>>OK

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Open add/remove programs and remove the following if listed.

WildTangent - This is an online gaming package that is installed by a number of third party applications and even OEMs, ISPs , AIM and P2P. It collects personal information from customers when they buy one of their products (such as name, contact information and payment and billing information and system info) and sends that info back to wildtangent. Most security experts regard this as spyware. If you installed this and want to keep be aware of this. If you didn’t install this…remove it through add/remove programs.


Go into HijackThis->Config->Misc. Tools->Open process manager. Select the following and click Kill process for each one if they are still listed (they shouldn't be but make sure)

Delete the following Files/Folders in RED (delete folders if no filename is specified or they are RED) according to their directory (If you can't find them...do a search for them…make sure you have search hidden files, folders, sub directorys..ect enabled if it applys to your OS)
