Help! Only cannot connect http URL.
Hi all,
I have a problem with my home PC (a Dell Dimension) a few days ago. The symptom is I cannot get connected to any URL start with http://. The rest like https://, ftp, msn messenger, skype and ping to an DNS name or IP address are ok, working normally. I have trend micro, spy sweeper and spy bot installed, and scanned my pc with all three, only found some cookies, cleaned them but still no joy. This only happens around 5 min after boot up. It works fine immediately after a reboot. I can surf any website, no problem. Then 5 min later, it get connection error. But everything works fine if I boot in safe mode with networking. I suspect it could be caused by a service that start up during booting, so, I have used msconfig trying to exclude some of the services while booting, but still no sucess. I have use HijackThis to capture the running service, hopefully someone here could help me. Attached below is the HijackThis log: Hope someone could give me some hints where went wrong. Thank you and Happy New Year!
