Continually losing internet connection
Hi

Hope someone can help. I keep losing my internet connection, this seemed to happen after i upgraded to Panda 2008 Av+FW, but think this is only coincidence that this seemed to happen at/around the same time. I can ping a website eg google.com from the command prompt and experience no packet loss at all, when i lose the internet. The only way to revive my internet connection is to reboot, as restarting my router does not seem to help either.

Ive done the lspfix as i thought maybe a winsock issue was causing the problem but this did not detect a issue with my current winsock config. Hope someone can shed some light on this from the logs supplied. Im not entirely convinced that malware is causing this problem, but would like to eliminate this as a possibility before looking at the hardware side.

is it okay to bump this thread now? im still having internet drop outs when i leave my pc for any length of time, when i return to it the internet connection is dead. I can restore it by repairing the connection via control panel, network connections, right clicking the NIC and choosing repair..but why do i have to keep doing this? Previously i could leave my computer for hours on end and come back and my internet connection would still be alive. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

any chance of getting some help with this, i still have the same problem or have i come to the wrong forum for advice in getting this resolved? do i need a minimum post count before i can get any help? i've read the rules and FAQ's and cant see im doing anything wrong? again, id appreciate any assistance..
