Suspicious entries with the google name in hosts file. Google will not load*2ndthread
Original Topic- Suspicious Entries with the google name in Hosts file. Google will not load.
Sorry for the inactivity tetonbob, alot of things came up for me. I will be able to stay active until the rest of the problems are fixed. For the sake of providing some possibly helpful info in helping you assist me I'm going to report the following things that still seem to be wrong/ *this is a family shared computer so some of these mentions are from my dad also* 1. The computer seems to be running slower now. Mostly with load time at the beginning. Took 5 minutes to open firefox. 2. Big time trojans still quarantened and need to be removed and wondering if we need to go through more steps to clean out the whole infection. 3. I remember you mentioning something seeming off about mcaffee when you looked over it in one of the scans. I would like to get some assistance on figuring out what is wrong with mcaffee after we finish cleaning up the rest of the infection. 4. My brother says he has the Windows Security Suite Virus. Said its really hard to get rid of and isn't confident that it is gone. Said he's been to many tech help forums for one on one help but couldn't get rid of it. Needs a heads up from you guys if it is gone. |

You know what. Never mind. :/ Just delete this thread. And please delete the other thread too. I'm not going to be able to be back on after this post, I was really hoping we could have worked one on one to finish the fix today. I know we could have fixed the other problems if we worked one on one today like we had in the past. Its a shame we won't have time to fix the last few problems. :< Thanks for trying to help though.
