C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\xaudio.exe If it helps, before this problem came about, I would periodically get windows coming up that said "Windows Defender Threat Detected" or something like that, it would then list a file of what it said was a trojan, and I clicked remove file, but this still kept periodically coming up. Then last night I got this error message problem, I don't know if the two are related or not, but I thought it might be. Thanks in advance! |

Re: HELP!!-Bad Image Error Messages On Vista?
Hello and Welcome to TSF.
We no longer use HijackThis as our initial analysis tool. We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link I'll give you below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a Quote:
------------------------------------------------------ Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here: NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help After running through all the steps, you shall have a proper set of logs. Please post them in a new thread, as this one shall be closed. If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply. Please note that the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply. ------------------------------------------------------ You are using an outdated version of HijackThis. Please uninstall HijackThis 1.99.1 in the Programs and Features section of your Control Panel and delete your current version. ------------------------------------------------------ |
