I've been hijacked! Nothing has helped...
Okay, I'm apparently infected with some sort of hijacker. Every single link that isn't embedded or flash takes me to various 3rd party sites like Tazinga! (upon others) via thefeedonline.com. I have run Comodo virus scan, SuperAntiSpyware scans AND used HijackThis along with the auto log analyzer. Nothing has helped. I'm am at a complete loss. Any help is appreciated! My HijackThis log is below.
*EDIT* Its actually starting to get worse. I can barely view any pages without being suddenly taken to a ZoneAlarm ad. Firefox has crashed on me twice in the last 5 minutes. HELP! Re: I've been hijacked! Nothing has helped...
Sorry to reply to my own post, but I have an important update.
Shortly after posting this I ran Malwarebytes. MB found 11 infections that weren't spotted by Comodo, Superantispyware or HijackThis. It supposedly took care of the infections, but I'm still having these problems... as a matter of fact, they're getting worse! The MalwareBytes log is below. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.41 Database version: 2775 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 9/18/2009 4:30:21 PM mbam-log-2009-09-18 (16-30-21).txt Scan type: Full Scan (C:\|) Objects scanned: 201982 Time elapsed: 49 minute(s), 8 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 1 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 2 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 8 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: C:\WINDOWS\system32\autochk.dll (Trojan.FakeAlert) -> Delete on reboot. Re: I've been hijacked! Nothing has helped...
Hello and Welcome to TSF.
We no longer use HijackThis as our initial analysis tool. We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link I'll give you below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a Quote:
------------------------------------------------------ Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here: NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help After running through all the steps, you shall have a proper set of logs. Please post them in a new thread, as this one shall be closed. If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply. Please note that the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply. ------------------------------------------------------ |
