Okey ill start from the beginning.
My computer got infected by a virus that wouldn't allow it to start up. So i format the computer but during the process of installing the computer froze. I used killdisk to completely wipe all data, and it did allow me to fully install my version of XP PRO SP3 Vista edition, but when i connected it to my hub/router and restarted it, it froze again (it froze when you see windows XP loading) So now i thought, i probably have a boot section virus. And i did all the necessary steps to remove a boot section virus (remove HDD, Updated bios through DOS, removed battery, wiped HDD with killDisk and installed a fresh copy of windows) But again... when i connect to internet and rebooted, it froze at the same place again... To provide further information, there are 2 other computers connected to the router, and i used the same windows several times before, on the same computer and on others. My Motherboard is an Asus M2V Socket AM2 So does anyone have experience with these kinds of issues? If so, please help me figure out how to solve this, or at least what's infected. //Lenny |

Re: Help me figure out my virus please!
Hello L.Johansson,
Unfortunately, your description is a bit too vague for us to be able to say 'yes--this is it'. Quote:
