websites being misdirected

When searching on any search engine, toolbar search, etc. and then clicking on one of the results, it takes you to sites that are not what you think they are. One example, looking for a construction website, being misdirected to diaper website. Also, some of the websites that pop up look like they are your windows machine telling you that there are many viruses on your computer and that you must install antivirus software. Also, some of the pages that come up are for fake antivirus websites. You can get to the proper website if you type the url into the address line in the browser. But, like if you go on this forum and try to enter a post the browser shuts down before you can post anything.

The other thing that is happening is the Peachtree software was constantly shutting itself down mid operation. Now, it is saying the pscore2.dll is missing and the application must be reinstalled. After a search on the computer, we have found that the dll file is not missing.
