Trojans found, limited connectivity
I have Kapersky anti virus and norton anti virus, my kapersky is out of date and my norton has been updated but i can only scan, not fix with it. Plus my internet connection has limited or no connectivity (not on my desktop though). It says on the list of viruses i have ALOT of backdoor.tidserv viruses and alot of packed.generic.200 viruses. How can i get rid of these without using the internet on my laptop?? If you need information on the machine you will need to instruct me on how to get it also.
Please help!! |

Re: Trojans found, limited connectivity
Hello and welcome to TSF
I suggest you remove Kaspersky antivirus via add/remove if it is out of date and then follow the instructions below. You should not have two antivirus programs on the same machine :Using a pc connected to the internet you can download the tools to a USB stick or any other removable media device and transfer them to the infected computer. =========== We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link I'll give you below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here: NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help After running through all the steps, you shall have a proper set of logs. Please post them in a new topic, as this one shall be closed. If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply. Please note that the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply. |
