[SOLVED] The clickover.cn problem.
I have it. It's redirecting my Google pages to the said site, and Blue Coat K9 Web Protection has been blocking it. It may have been caught when I downloaded something off Limewire, or came across a designer bag reproduction site [looking for a new school tote, ugh]. Every so often my computer will slow down while using internet, shut down and flash it's blue screen, mentioning a " Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"
Also the internet has not always been functioning, and I've been having to refresh pages, sephora.com in particular, that also may be a source. I'll restart after that, then the computer will say "it has recovered from a serious error, report?" and I will, which has happened many times. After a power outage today, it started to say an error with connection with the report, which I will quote after it happens once again. [Also, I'm not sure if the "addon.txt" file was attached, and I received no "ARK.txt" from the scan, apologies] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DDS (Ver_09-07-30.01) - NTFSx86 Run by Brenna Fines at 16:15:07.72 on 11/08/2009 Internet Explorer: 7.0.5730.13 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition 5.1.2600.2.1252.44.1033.18.1022.149 [GMT -4:00] AV: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security *On-access scanning enabled* (Outdated) {7D2296BC-32CC-4519-917E-52E652474AF5} FW: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security (Firewall) *enabled* {3E790E9E-6A5D-4303-A7F9-185EC20F3EB6} ============== Running Processes =============== C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost -k DcomLaunch svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MsMpEng.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs C:\Program Files\Ahead\InCD\InCDsrv.exe svchost.exe svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\LEXBCES.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\LEXPPS.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\acs.exe svchost.exe C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\AOL\ACS\AOLacsd.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\AppleMobileDeviceService.exe C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECO~1\k9filter.exe C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\PcCtlCom.exe C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\PSIService.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Protexis\License Service\PsiService_2.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe -k imgsvc C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\Tmntsrv.exe C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\tmproxy.exe C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Common\ViewpointService.exe C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\Core\smax4pnp.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\igfxpers.exe C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_02\bin\jusched.exe C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD\DVDLauncher.exe C:\Program Files\Real\RealPlayer\RealPlay.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\dla\tfswctrl.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\issch.exe C:\Program Files\Dell\Media Experience\DMXLauncher.exe C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Internet Security 12\pccguide.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Corel\Corel PhotoDownloader\Corel Photo Downloader.exe C:\Program Files\D-Link\RangeBooster G WUA-2340\AirPlusCFG.exe C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\TmPfw.exe C:\Program Files\ANI\ANIWZCS2 Service\WZCSLDR2.exe C:\Program Files\ScanSoft\OmniPageSE\opware32.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exe C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscntfy.exe C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel MediaOne\CorelIOMonitor.exe C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Internet Security 12\TMAS_OE\TMAS_OEMon.exe C:\Program Files\DellSupport\DSAgnt.exe C:\Program Files\Google\GoogleToolbarNotifier\GoogleToolbarNotifier.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe C:\Program Files\Digital Line Detect\DLG.exe C:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exe C:\Program Files\NETGEAR\WN111v2\WN111V2.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nikon\Monitor\NkMonitor.exe C:\Program Files\Fotki Desktop\fotki.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\wuauclt.exe C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_02\bin\jucheck.exe C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe C:\Program Files\SpyNoMore\SNM.exe C:\Program Files\Safari\Safari.exe C:\Documents and Settings\Brenna Fines\Desktop\dds.pif ============== Pseudo HJT Report =============== uStart Page = hxxp://www.yahoo.com/ uSearch Page = hxxp://www.google.com uSearch Bar = hxxp://www.google.com/ie uDefault_Page_URL = hxxp://www.dell4me.com/myway uSearchMigratedDefaultURL = hxxp://www.google.com/search?q={searchTerms}&sourceid=ie7&rls=com.microsoft:en-US&ie=utf8&oe=utf8 uDefault_Search_URL = hxxp://www.google.com/ie mDefault_Page_URL = hxxp://www.yahoo.com/ mStart Page = hxxp://www.yahoo.com/ uSearchAssistant = hxxp://www.google.com/ie uSearchURL,(Default) = hxxp://www.google.com/search?q=%s uURLSearchHooks: AOLTBSearch Class: {ea756889-2338-43db-8f07-d1ca6fb9c90d} - c:\program files\aol\aim toolbar 5.0\aoltb.dll uURLSearchHooks: N/A: {4d25f926-b9fe-4682-bf72-8ab8210d6d75} - c:\program files\mywaysa\srchasde\deSrcAs.dll uURLSearchHooks: Yahoo! Re: The clickover.cn problem.
Hi blackbirdbree,
Sorry for the delay in looking into your log, as we are extremely busy in this section of the forums. If you still require assistance and are not seeking help elsewhere, then please carry out my instructions. Please subscribe to this thread so that you are notified when you receive a reply. To do this click Thread Tools, then click Subscribe to this Thread. Make sure it is set to Instant Notification, then click Add Subscription. ** Note: Please stick with me until I declare that your system is free from malware. Even though your system may not have any symptoms of malware, it may still be infected. ** -------------------------------------------------------------- Please re-run DDS and post the resulting logs -------------------------------------------------------------- Download GMER Rootkit Scanner from here or here. Unzip it to your Desktop. ======================================================== Before scanning, make sure all other running programs are closed and no other actions like a scheduled antivirus scan will occur while the scan is being performed. Do not use your computer for anything else during the scan. ======================================================== Double-click gmer.exe. The program will begin to run. **Caution** These types of scans can produce false positives. Do NOT take any action on any "<--- ROOKIT" entries unless advised by a trained Security Analyst If possible rootkit activity is found, you will be asked if you would like to perform a full scan.
