Hidden Driver

I scanned with AVG and it found something in both the rootkit scan and the Full scan. It says its called a Hidden Driver. It's located at C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\aul3wf7h.SYS I also can't remove it because it says Access is denied. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. And I also thought that files with the .SYS extension were part of the system itself.
