System Security =(
Hello,
So I have the trojan program, System Security. I have reformatted my laptop 2 times and it still manages to come back. I've Googled how to remove it, but I can't even find the process in Task Manager to shut it off. I'm semi computer literate, but if you are to explain how to remove it...it'll probably be best to keep it in layman's terms. I don't know how I can get rid of it, and how I even get it! After I reformatted my laptop the first time, all I downloaded and installed was Divx (which I now know comes with spyware and crap) and Adobe Flash Player (from adobe.com). After I reformatted my laptop the second time, all I've downloaded is the Defiler codec and Adobe Flash Player. I really can't understand the instructions I've Googled, and I don't know why I keep getting infected. I even installed and ran ComboFix, but it didn't go through. I got a message that it was missing a file. This was after I restarted my computer and it was going through and scanning all the different parts. I'm running on Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. If you need more details, let me know. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!! |
