Video hangs when CPU performance lowered
my acer extense 6700's CPU has 4 perfomance settings for when the system is on battery.
1. Very High 2. High 3. Medium 4. Low the videos play well when on "very high: but as soon as i lower to "high" or lower settings, the video starts to hang. and this happens for 5 secs after evry 30 secs. during this time the cpu utilization goes to maximum and then falls down. my DDS log is below: DDS (Ver_09-06-26.01) - NTFSx86 Run by Intisab at 21:54:42.64 on Mon 06/29/2009 Internet Explorer: 7.0.5730.13 Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.1.2600.3.1252.1.1033.18.1526.1011 [GMT 5:00] AV: Kaspersky Internet Security *On-access scanning disabled* (Updated) {2C4D4BC6-0793-4956-A9F9-E252435469C0} FW: Kaspersky Internet Security *disabled* {2C4D4BC6-0793-4956-A9F9-E252435469C0} ============== Running Processes =============== C:\windows\system32\svchost -k DcomLaunch svchost.exe C:\windows\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs C:\Program Files\Intel\Wireless\Bin\EvtEng.exe C:\Program Files\Intel\Wireless\Bin\S24EvMon.exe svchost.exe C:\windows\Explorer.EXE C:\windows\system32\spoolsv.exe svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2\schedul2.exe C:\Acer\Empowering Technology\admServ.exe C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\bin\btwdins.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nero\Nero BackItUp 4\NBService.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\igfxpers.exe C:\windows\RTHDCPL.EXE C:\Program Files\Intel\Wireless\Bin\RegSrvc.exe C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared files\RichVideo.exe C:\Program Files\Spyware Terminator\sp_rsser.exe C:\Program Files\System Protect\SysProtect_srv.exe C:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k imgsvc C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\Fomatik\TrueImageTryStartService.exe C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPLpr.exe C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPEnh.exe C:\Acer\Empowering Technology\admtray.exe C:\acer\Empowering Technology\ePower\epm-dm.exe C:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImageMonitor.exe C:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TimounterMonitor.exe C:\Program Files\Vista Drive Icon\DrvIcon.exe C:\Program Files\Intel\Wireless\Bin\ifrmewrk.exe C:\Program Files\Intel\Wireless\Bin\EOUWiz.exe C:\windows\system32\ctfmon.exe C:\Documents and Settings\Intisab\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Update\GoogleUpdate.exe C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\BTTray.exe C:\windows\system32\wscntfy.exe C:\Documents and Settings\Intisab\Desktop\dds.scr ============== Pseudo HJT Report =============== uSearch Bar = hxxp://www.crawler.com/search/dispatcher.aspx?tp=aus&qkw=%s&tbid=60342 uInternet Settings,ProxyServer = 172.27.0.100:8080 uInternet Settings,ProxyOverride = <local> mSearchAssistant = hxxp://www.crawler.com/search/ie.aspx?tb_id=60342 mCustomizeSearch = hxxp://dnl.crawler.com/support/sa_customize.aspx?TbId=60342 uURLSearchHooks: N/A: {1cb20bf0-bbae-40a7-93f4-6435ff3d0411} - c:\progra~1\crawler\toolbar\ctbr.dll uURLSearchHooks: Yahoo!
