Potential Trojan

I had a nasty Trojan for awhile now. But i decided to leave it since i was planning a reformat soon anyway. Which i have now done.

However, i am beginning to suspect the Trojan is still present. It seems to be adding files into C:\Users\James\AppData\Local\Temp Directory. It slows down my games, and can (though i haven't seen this since before i reformated) redirect me away from links on search engines.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and patience.

(Patience will come in when you speak anything remotely technical to me)

Re: Potential Trojan

Sorry u could not find the edit button so i am adding a post that will bumpt it before 72 hours. Sorry.

I just ran a Antivirus Antispyware and it revealed 2 corrupted files, however it does not seem to want to get rid of them. So i am stumped.

Also i looked in other threads and i have no clue how to post all that infomation like that. So when you ask me to, please tell me how to also. Thank you

[Edit] (funny I can't edit my older post)

I saved the scans file and it revealed the following.

22/06/2009 02:05:06 File: C:\Users\James\AppData\Local\Temp\e4j3D0E.tmp_dir16279\jre\bin\awt.dll

I hope this is helpful in making correcting my little fix simplier. This seems to be the only corrupted file, which is good i hope. It seems to have scanned this directory twice thus calculating two corrupted files.

Re: Potential Trojan

Well i deleted that file without a problem, it was just a piece of software for something else.

Though there are two files i cannot delete

C:\Users\James\AppData\Local\Temp\~DF54CC.tmp
C:\Users\James\AppData\Local\Temp\~DF54D3.tmp

Maybe i'm not supposed to be able to, but i decided i ought to update that i deleted the other 'corrupted' file.

Anyway, i guess i'm out of idea's so i won't post again until you guys have somethnig for me to do.
