Recycler Trojan or w/e
I know this has been posted already on other threads, but seeing that all cases are different, I decided to post one for myself. I have been lucky so far to not get infected on my previous PC, but I wasn't so lucky recently. I left my PC unattended for a day yesterday and my younger brother was _supposedly_ the one who was left using the PC last night. When I opened my PC today, I saw several "autoplay" thingies on my drives, which is a case of massive uh-ohs. And yes, I am almost about to give up on this but I wanted to give this forum a shot. Apparently, my pc is infected with a Recycler trojan, which I do not know how to remove. The virus already screwed my Spybot and Superantispyware, and would not let me run any other antivirus aside from my Avira Antivir and Threatfire. Also, it prevented me from downloading Kaspersky trials. What should I do?
My System Specs: Intel(r) Celeron(r) CPU 2.66 GHz 756mb of RAM Microsoft Windows XP Professional 2002 Edition If you need any other info, please inform me and I'll post it here. Thank you in advance. |
