serious help needed, please!
Hi!
 I'm pretty much in need of some serious help. It's probably not a huge issue, but to me it's detrimental because I am a full-time student and can't afford any other help besides very nice people like yourselves! So my computer has always acted up since I lost the one year Norton scanner that my computer came with (ACER TravelMate 2420, if it means anything). I am receiving a Mac for my birthday in November, but I need this computer to last me until then! My computer has of late, been very very slow, the toolbar/start menu will disappear for days at a time and my volume has also completely gone also. I have a free AVG scanner that I got online, I don't know if it ever worked. I use Firefox, which I thought was safe. I do not download anything, except the very unoccasional song through a Google search.  As a student I use my computer for absolute everything. I do use social networking sites, but not Myspace. I only access Facebook, Twitter and Blogger - if that has anything to do with it. I am open to any and all helpful suggestions!!!! Thanks you everyone!  I attached said files, but I am not sure if you need anything else. If you do, you'll probably have to break it down for me - because I will have no idea what you're talking about.  Thanks again!
