I recently got the virus Spyware 2009 on my computer (Windows Xp SP Pack2) with all of the annoying pop-ups. I opened my task manager and stopped the process sysguard.exe and then found the file sysguard.exe in my C:/Windows folder and deleted it. That seemed to take care of the Spyware Protect pop-ups, but I am still getting another pop-up which reads:

C:\Windows\Sysxvd.exe
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:0594 IP:06ce OP:63 6f 6c 6f 72 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

I found this website by googling that pop-up info and it seems someone else here had the same problem and got help here to fix it. I found their thread in the Resolved HJT Threads thread. To be sure to get the correct help I am posting my dds.txt and attach.zip. Hopefully my problem can be resolved as well.

About to run combo fix now. Thanks for the reply. I'll be back when it's done.

Okay I ran ComboFix and then in the middle of the scan realized I had forgetten one of my malware programs to disable. I let ComboFix run it's course, then disabled the malware program and ran it again. I should have saved the original text log but messed up there again too and did not. So I have the final log attatched. I should also mention that yesterday I also ran scans with ad-aware and spybot and have not had any pop-ups or problems since then. But I want to make sure everthing is clean.
