Hi, the day before the problem started, my AVG picked up a virus alert. I simply clicked "heal". Next time i turned on my computer (windows vista service pack 1), i typed in my password in the login screen and it said "welcome". That apparently never changed
However, safe mode does allow me to log in to my profile. I suspect the boot sector of the hard disk is damaged. Can anyone help..? Thank you.
