Malware I think?
I've done about 3 system restores. They only help for about a good hour before the thing comes back and I haven't even opened the browser. When I try to go to microsoft.com or any website with an antivirus, it redirects or timesout. I can work around it by using proxy sites but anything that requires me to direct download from those kinds of sites is timed out.
Here is the report I got from hijackthis. Also, I am unable to fully delete the norton. I was able to do it in previous system restores, but it won't let me now for some reason. Re: Malware I think?
Hello and Welcome to TSF.
We no longer use HijackThis as our initial analysis tool. We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link I'll give you below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a Quote:
------------------------------------------------------ Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here: NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help After running through all the steps, you shall have a proper set of logs. Please post them in a new thread, as this one shall be closed. If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply. Please note that the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply. ------------------------------------------------------ |
