Gaopdx + continuously refreshing Google links

Hello, I'm rather new here, and I'm in desperate need of assistance.

My computer hasn't always been the healthiest of CPUs, and it seems like I can't go four months without picking up some trojan or virus. As it stands, my computer at this time doesn't allow tabs in Internet Explorer when it used to, and double-clicking on C: in My Computer will not take me there (it allows me to get there by navigating through my address bar, though).

But that's not my issue.

My main issue is that right now I have a trojan that keeps generating pop-ups, and when I scanned my system with Avira AntiVir Personal, it said that I had these really long file names that started with "gaopdx". Avira wouldn't delete the files, it'd only copy them to the quarantine folder.

I tried getting rid of this trojan using ATF Cleaner, but it didn't work, and now whenever I click a link in Google, the page just keeps refreshing over and over, and sometimes won't even load the page.

Any help would be much appreciated.
