Pop up nightmare!!

stoked to find you guys, I realise that I can probably give very little back in regards to tech info, but reading throught the various posts, I have learnt a but already. You have multiple infections on this system. It will be best if we attack them in stages.
You have the latest version of VX2. Download L2mfix from one of these two locations: http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe Click "Install" to extract the contents to a newly created folder. Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.
When finished, you will be required to press any key to automatically reboot. On the reboot notepad will open with a log. Copy/paste the contents of that log back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log. IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so! If after the reboot the log does not open double click on it in the l2mfix folder to locate log.txt. If you receive an error - \system32\Autoexec.nt is not suitable for running MS-Dos applications, you will need to visit this website to download additional files.

OK, that was the easy part. Now for round two. This will take some time...so be sure you can spend a couple hours all at once before you begin.
Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should 'not' have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below. Before you do anything else, please create a folder for HijackThis and put it in a permanent folder (like C:\HJT) instead of the Temp folder. This is required because HijackThis will create backups and we don't want them to be deleted. Before attacking an adware/spyware problem with hijackthis make sure you have already run the following tools. Download and update the databases on each program before running.
Download Ewido Security Suite
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Ewido When you have finished updating, EXIT Ewido. The Temp folders should be cleaned out periodically as installation programs and hijack programs leave a lot of junk there. Download CleanUp! (Alternate Link if main link doesn't work) and install it. *NOTE* Cleanup deletes EVERYTHING out of temp/temporary folders and does not make backups. If you have any documents or programs that are saved in any Temporary Folders, please make a backup of these before running CleanUp! If you have a 64 bit Operating System do NOT run Cleanup and let me know as we will use another utility. Run Cleanup! using the following configuration: 1. Click Options... 2. Set the slider to Standard CleanUp! 3. Uncheck the following:
5. Press the CleanUp! button to start the program. Reboot/logoff when prompted. * CleanUp! will not create any backups!! Restart your computer and boot into Safe Mode by hitting the F8 key repeatedly until a menu shows up (and choose Safe Mode from the list). In some systems, this may be the F5 key, so try that if F8 doesn't work. Make sure to close any open browsers. Run Ewido with it's updated definitions:(...it's important that all windows must be closed)
** Ewido scan would require at least an hour. Run a scan in HijackThis. Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist: VCClient <<<Please let me know if this exists or not. Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any): O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [CU1] C:\Program Files\Common Files\VCClient\VCClient.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [CU2] C:\Program Files\Common Files\VCClient\VCMain.exe Go to My Computer->Tools->Folder Options->View tab: * Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders. * Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option. * Click Yes to confirm and then click OK. Delete the following Files/Folders if they exist: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VCClient Restart and run a new HijackThis scan. Save the log file and post it here. Create a uninstall list:

First off I checked thorugh the uninstall list and the VCCLIENT was not in there. However I did a standard search and it showed up. I then ran the HJT and "fixed"the two HKCU listings. I then ran the search and deleted the Folder: C:\Program FIles\Common FIles\VCCLIENT.
