Re: Trojan infection/No Control Panel
I am going for Kaspersky AV 7, rather than the internet version.
I will add:SpywareBlaster/SpywareGuard/Spybot/IE-SpyAd/Host (MVPS)/ZoneAlarm. However it looks as though IE-SpyAd is not supported by IE7 (which is loaded). I assume that all the others will be ok with IE7 (. If not, please suggest alternatives). Is there another product like IE-SpyAd for IE7? Otherwise I am ok but will uninstall Windows Defender as I will use Kaspersky Ends |

Re: Trojan infection/No Control Panel
What makes you think IE-Spyad doesn't work for IE7?
I think you're misreading the information regarding "Enough is Enough". I have IE7, and use IE-Spyad for ZonedOut.

Re: IE_SpyAd
I am sorry, I thought that referred to IE SpyAd, perhaps it does not. Thanks for correction. If I go for Kaspersky Internet Security, rather than just the AV, can I drop some of the other apps? Ends |

Re: Trojan infection/No Control Panel
Please be more specific with your question.
Security takes a multi-layered approach. No one application will take care of everything.

Re: Trojan infection/No Control Panel
Only use one firewall....so no to ZoneAlarm.
The others may still prove useful. The decision is yours.
