Re: virus? (noob)

Hi h0pefulchilD,

From that PC Pitstop URL linky, you will find a Customized Tune-up Tips section just for your system. Do the tips, and see if that improves the performance of your system or not.

Any persistent problems or suspicious behaviour on your machine that I should know about?

Re: virus? (noob)

Sometimes a bad DNS entry is cached. Let’s clear out the DNS cache.

Please go to Start -> Run and type (or copy and paste):

cmd

Click OK.

A black DOS window with the Command Prompt or C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe header will now appear. Now type (or copy and paste):

ipconfig /flushdns

Hit Enter.

Type Exit and hit Enter again to exit the command prompt window.

Let me know if that improves your Internet connections.
