Don't remove HijackThis.exe--ComboScan needs it on your system in order to invoke the program. Due to changes made in the tool, it will no longer automatically install it for you, it would direct you to go online and download HijackThis.exe again.
![]() You can delete any previous Hijackthislog.txt

Yes.
![]() Double-check that the remaining HijackThis.exe will indeed launch--if you deleted the actual program and only kept the shortcut that you see on the desktop, it won't be able to launch. |
