Rex, you're misunderstanding.....
Nothing will come up. You have to go find the file in it's folder location....and delete it manually c:\windows\downloaded program files\f3initialsetup1.0.0.5.inf never mind, let's do this: Download Pocket Killbox and unzip the exe file to your desktop. Launch KillBox.exe & select the following options:
* Click the RED X button. * Click Yes at the Delete on Reboot prompt. * Click Yes at the 'Pending Operations prompt'. let me know.....

me for the last time
I must admit I do feel a little silly, however, I have learnt more about computers in the last week then ever before. I would like to thank you for your time and PATIENCE as you walked me through everything...I may even be able to teach the grandkids a thing or two as they are always on my computer. I will be sure to donate to the forum as it will be well worth the money. Thanx again for your time and help.
Rex p.s. p.c runs great!! faster than ever! |

Enable Windows Auto Update
Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programs:
In light of your recent troubles, I'm sure you'll like to avoid any future infections. Please take a look at these well written articles If you want to fight back the Malware Writers that have made your life a misery, please take a look here and read what you can do against it.
