Please Read Before Applying To Join The Academy

TSF is very proud to announce the opening of our school of Security Analysts, The Academy.

The school will provide the framework, resources and staff to help individuals learn the skills of HijackThis log interpretation and repair of infected systems using HJT and the ever-changing array of tools often necessary to complete those repairs.

Working towards become an Analysts can be a challenge. Having knowledge of how computers operate is very helpful, but is not required here. Those with less knowledge of computer function will learn a great deal about that subject, as well.

The school is self-paced, and we promise everyone who enrolls a friendly, supportive environment.

To request admission, locate the enrollment thread in the Hijack This Help Forum and request to be admitted. We will process all requests as soon as we can.

If you are up to the challenge, we'll see you there!

While it is not my intention to bar Any person from the opportunity of learning to combat the beast, I would request that if you want to join, that you do so in the spirit of REALLY wanting to learn. It has become necessary for me to put up this thread to highlight the fact that we currently have 315 registered trainees in the Academy of which a mere 37 have actually posted in the Practice Range from the inception of the Academy.

The point I am making here, is that it takes a whole bunch of admin work to admit a Trainee that does not end up training, which is the case with some 278 people that have signed up so far. My staff and I welcome everyone with open arms BUT please only join if you are serious about becoming an Analyst here in TSF or any other forum for that matter.

During a recent remodeling exercise, I decided to change a few procedures - one to note is if you are interested in joining the TSF Academy, please PM Ried, entitling your message "Please may I sign up for the TSF Academy".

Please note the content of this thread very carefully before applying, as there is quite a bit of administrative work that goes into admitting a new Trainee.

If you have an active thread in the HijackThis Log Help section, kindly wait until your thread has been concluded before applying to the Academy.

Please also note that it may take a few days to receive a reply.
