Thank you Geekgirl (cute icon), I have tried to follow your instructions and here is more data.
I am in safe mode with networking (it give me Internet access without the loading of foul programs) and I have run Ad-Aware, Spybot SD, also have Symantic Antivirus 9.0.1.1000. I shut everything down, pulled my cable modem connect and ran HJT today in safe mode with networking (effectively off) and will post results. I am a stand alone PC. Greetings,
Let's make a first pass and see if this is an easy varient, or a hard one. Download, unzip to your desktop CWShredder and run it, then: 1. Click "Check For Update" (If an update isn't available, skip to step #4.) 2. Click "Click here to Download the upate". 3. When the new version has been downloaded, click "Save". 4. Click "Fix ->" =============== Now, let's open a command prompt and unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following: regsvr32 /u Bolger.dll regsvr32 /u nse3D.dll It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save on the typing. =============== Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present: O2 - BHO: (no name) - {00000000-DD60-0064-6EC2-6E0100000000} - (no file) O2 - BHO: BolgerObj Class - {302A3240-4805-4a34-97D7-1645A0B08410} - C:\WINDOWS\Bolger.dll O2 - BHO: ohb - {999A06FF-10EF-4A29-8640-69E99882C26B} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\nse3D.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PaciSoft] C:\WINDOWS\system32\pacis.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [exp.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\exp.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTask driver] C:\WINDOWS\system32\wintask.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [farmmext] C:\WINDOWS\farmmext.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [cfgmgr51] RunDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll,DllRun O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HSOVDLL] C:\WINDOWS\HSOVDLL.EXE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HSOVENC] C:\WINDOWS\HSOVENC.EXE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [fznycs] c:\windows\system32\xyygadt.exe O16 - DPF: {B4831DED-3A57-4CC6-9E4B-0E7C5B08DBF4} - http://www.alwaysupdatednews.com/install/aun_0018.exe O16 - DPF: {C0B285F6-DB2B-4908-9C58-F6D95397D747} - http://www.pacimedia.com/install/pcs_0015.exe Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked". =============== Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders: files... C:\WINDOWS\Bolger.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\nse3D.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\pacis.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\exp.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\wintask.exe C:\WINDOWS\farmmext.exe C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll C:\WINDOWS\HSOVDLL.EXE C:\WINDOWS\HSOVENC.EXE c:\windows\system32\xyygadt.exe - Note that some of these file(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them from "Safe Mode". =============== Post back a new log, and let me know how everything goes. |
