So sorry to report that it is better, but still getting time outs. Is this still an adware problem?

Download Winsock2Fix and unzip it. Then double-click on it to run it.

A little better but still slow on big sites, like this one or ebay, etc. It will either time out or take a long time to load.

Try out other sites. TSF has been slow due to the traffic we are receiving. eBay may be experiencing the same thing. So go to a few other sites and try loading them up. I have some startup programs pages on my site which should be over 100kb each. So if you have a fast internet connection, it should load this up without any lags. Click here and see if it times out.

Have you tried using Microsoft's new AntiSpyware?! You'll find it at www.microsoft.com. I found it a good tool to use, it's worth a try.

I have a cable connection, and am not used to anything being slow, however those things did come up quickly could it just be the sites? Is there anything else to do?

So the site is loading up ok then? Like I said earlier, it's probably too many traffic right now and that's causing the slowdown. You shouldn't experience too much slowdown in the forum that it will time out. It will take a little longer to load, but not that long.

If you want to run a test, go to DSL Reports.

I'm not sure. What kind of internet connection speed does your ISP provide you? See if it's close.
