Unable to start Thunderbird - memory could not be written

Ref: my post- rgual 20 Sep 2008 04:54PM
In addition to info posted there, was unable to install Windows updates as instructed. Also, had problem with malware disguised as csrss.exe. in windows/config folder. Deleted file, copied csrss.exe from /system/.. to windows/config. Got error msg on startup, so renamed file to acsrss.exe. Now getting error msg: ..unable to load windows/config/csrss.exe.
