Is anything wrong?

Hi, there are some strange incidences that have been happening recently. First, generally daily, the computer gets a BSOD with a 0x0000000A IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and the recommended check hardware/drives/ect. does not help. Also, HijackThis.exe and Egui.exe (and possibly others) will not run at all (clicking on them does nothing, nor does opening from the command prompt) unless they are renamed. Do you think that possibly malware is causing one or both of these problems?
