Ho Guys (& Gals)
I had a bizarre happening when visiting a site a few days ago......I forget what site it was but think it was a windows update site.......anyway, when I visited this site, there was a lot of activity and a window saying 'checking your system for blah blah blah......I immediately shut down firefox and thought all was well. Until a short while ago when my PC refused to boot. sticking at the XP loading screen with no HD activity. I had to hit reset and restore to last know good config...this seems to have worked for now but I notice there were hundreds, if not thousands of new entries in registry. I found these were listed under ie6 privacy policy...not sure what as but they were all sex and gambling site related and I hit the remove all button.......hey presto, gone from the registry also. I am running Comodo Firewall pro....which I find excellent with antivir from avira as well as spyware detector and rarely if ever get problems. Anyway, since there are some strange things now happening with my pc, I wonder if someone could take a gander at my HJT log and let me know if there is anything obvious, one of the bizarre things happening is that all my Icons on the desktop seem to be refreshing randomly....not a problem as such but makes me suspicious. Cheers all Heres the log.
