HELP! Browser hijacked to "antivirus" sites

Hello & thanks in advance for any suggestions.

We've been having this problem since yesterday - our IE6 browser is almost nonfunctional (we're posting this from a different computer). It won't access most sites at all, it is extremely slow when it does go somewhere, and we have popups warning us of viruses and trying to install "protective" software coming up constantly.

So far the problem seems to be limited to Internet Explorer although it has slowed down the system in general.

We followed the instructions on this site and we have logs saved from Panda and DSS. We also previously ran scans using Avast and Adaware but were not able to get rid of the problem.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
