Browser Hijacked

Please help as i have trouble running Internet Explorer, i am now using a second computer.
First i should note that i came accross this forum earlier today, and noticing the similarity between my problem and an already existing one decided to follow the instructions already provided. As such, i procured a copy of the "Hijack This" program, ran it, and proceded to fix files the reparation of which had been prescribed.
This may or may not be an important note, i mention it only to clear matters for the discerning eye that may notice a missing entry in my log.
Now to the problem: My browser is constantly hijacked by worldtracker.biz, i am unable to open any other webpage. Ad-Aware is seemingly helpless in ridding my PC of this Virus, or whatever it is. Lately, internet explorer no longer can open any web page at all, i am lost, please help.

Here is my log file:

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Windows XP's search feature is a little different. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that Search system folders, Search hidden files and folders, and Search subfolders are checked.

For the options that you checked/enabled earlier, you may uncheck them after your log is clean. If we ask you to fix a program that you use or want to keep, please post back saying that (we don't know every program that exists, so we may tell you to delete a program that we think is bad to keep).

Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel and double-click on the System icon. On the Performance tab click File System. Click the Troubleshooting tab, and then check Disable System Restore. Click OK. Click Yes, when you are prompted to restart Windows. When we have confirmed that your log file is clean, you may enable System Restore again by following the same steps as above except you should uncheck Disable System Restore .

Please download Ad-aware SE and install it if you don't have it already. Make sure it's the newest version and check for any updates before running it. Go to this site to get the plug-in for fixing VX2 variants. To run this tool, go into Ad-aware->Add-ons and select VX2 Cleaner. Then click Run Tool and OK to start it. If it's clean, it will say Status System Clean. Otherwise, you will have to click on the Clean button to remove the VX2 infection. Also make sure to customize the settings in Ad-aware for better scan results. Run the scan and fix everything that it finds.

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers.

[/b]Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:[b]

Altnet Points Manager

Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any):

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\SNNPAPI.DLL/sp.html (obfuscated)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDEA6D27-43B6-45A8-9198-D6403124F8F1} - C:\WINDOWS\SNNPAPI.DLL (file missing)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AltnetPointsManager] c:\program files\altnet\points manager\points manager.vxd -s
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [C:\WINDOWS\IPCFG.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\IPCFG.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [C:\WINDOWS\SCANDS32.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\SCANDS32.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CSV7P70] \Progra~1\CSBB\CSV7P070.VXD
O4 - Startup: powerreg scheduler.vxd
O16 - DPF: {10000000-1000-0000-1000-000000000000} - file://C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\oa.exe

Delete the following Files/Folders (delete folders if no filename is specified) according to their directory (if none, just do a search for them) and delete them if they exist:

C:\WINDOWS\IPCFG.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SCANDS32.EXE
C;\Program Files\CSBB\
powerreg scheduler.vxd
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\oa.exe
c:\program files\altnet\

Reboot into Normal Mode and post a new HijackThis log file so we can make sure it's clean.

Your logis clean. Well done.

Sid, to be safe out there, you really need SP1 for IE6...you can get it here.

Spoke too soon...

Hello guys, i know i'm going to lose major kudos points here, but after having seemingly been completely fixed, Internet Explorer is acting up again. I can explain this: I had warned my brother aganst using the internet until i had installed all the necessary components (CWShredder, Firefox, firewall...), he chose, however, to visit "safe sites" that selfsame night, and well, now i'm back on the "help me" rollercoaster.
If anyone can lend me a hand, i would be very grateful...

My System

No problem.

Click the Troubleshooting tab, and then check 'Disable System Restore'. Click OK. Click Yes when you are prompted to restart Windows. When we have confirmed that your log file is clean, you may enable System Restore again by following the same steps as above except you should uncheck 'Disable System Restore'.

If you have a fast internet connection (broadband), run an online virus scan at TrendMicro (http://housecall.trendmicro.com). Make sure to select the Autoclean option. Otherwise, make sure your antivirus program has the latest definitions and run a full system scan.

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any):

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Microsoft Internet Acceleration Utility] C:\WINDOWS\IAU.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SpyBlocs] C:\PROGRAM FILES\SPYBLOCS\SpyBlocs.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Microsoft Internet Acceleration Utility] C:\WINDOWS\IAU.EXE
O21 - SSODL: Sysctl Desktop Handler - {23456789-0000-0020-0900-00AAFF6D2EA4} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\ntosv.dll

Delete the following Files/Folders (delete folders if no filename is specified) according to their directory (if none, just do a search for them) and delete them if they exist:

C:\WINDOWS\IAU.EXE
C:\PROGRAM FILES\SPYBLOCS\
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ntosv.dll

Reboot into Normal Mode and post a new HijackThis log file so we can make sure it's clean.

To help prevent future spyware installations/infections, please read the Anti-Spyware Section and use the tools provided.

Make sure to update Windows and Internet Explorer at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

Thanks for the advice, I still have the same problem though…
I followed the steps you prescribed, skipping the virus scan at TrendMicro, as Internet Explorer will not let me open the page that follows “select country,” in fact I have noticed that I get an error message whenever I click on a button in Internet Explorer (such as “log in” at techsupportforum.com or “select country” at TrendMicro.) Also, I have noticed that some ads (from topresults.biz which I think is a hijacker) are displayed at the upper part of every page that opens successfully, (yahoo seeming to be the only exclusion.) In any case, with the exception of the virus scan at TrendMicro, I have followed every step prescribed, down to the last part where I found several files (3 or 4) named ntosv.dll, I deleted all of them with the exception of one: ntosv.dll.conf which I wasn’t sure about.
Here’s my log:

Finally, when I click alt+ctrl+delete, a program called “iau” is running, is this part of the problem? Thanks again for the help, looking forward to hearing from you.

OK. Download KillBox (http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/killbox.zip) and unzip it to a folder. Run KillBox and copy and paste each of the following (one by one and hit Kill File):

C:\WINDOWS\IAU.EXE

Click on the Exit button (restart).
