HJT Log, Please help..
Dear admins,
I have this searchportal spy in my computer. I have followed almost all the instructions that you guys wrote in the forum (before posting the HJT Log). There's only one problem though, I couldn't use the online scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com because I kept getting disconnected. I have used the HiJackThis Analyzer too. So here's my result.txt, would you please check it out. Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Log was analyzed using HijackThis Analyzer - Updated on 11/23/04 Logfile of HijackThis v1.98.2 Scan saved at 1:02:58 AM, on 29/11/04 Platform: Windows XP (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 (6.00.2600.0000) Running processes: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\aswUpdSv.exe C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashServ.exe C:\Program Files\SPACENET\Internet Page Accelerator\RPAService.exe C:\Program Files\CheckPoint\SecuRemote\bin\SR_Service.exe C:\Program Files\CheckPoint\SecuRemote\bin\SR_WatchDog.exe C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_04\bin\jusched.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\00THotkey.exe C:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\TOSHIBA Controls\TFncKy.exe C:\PROGRA~1\ALWILS~1\Avast4\ashDisp.exe C:\PROGRA~1\ALWILS~1\Avast4\ashmaisv.exe C:\WINDOWS\inetdata\services.exe C:\Program Files\CheckPoint\SecuRemote\bin\SR_GUI.Exe C:\Program Files\SPACENET\Internet Page Accelerator\AS_Agent.exe C:\HJT\HijackThis1982.exe R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://searchcentral.cc/search.php?v=4&aff=2260 R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://searchcentral.cc/index.php?v=4&aff=2260 R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.searchportal.info/10039/ R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = localhost:9877 F3 - REG:win.ini: run=C:\WINDOWS\inetdata\services.exe O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5321E378-FFAD-4999-8C62-03CA8155F0B3} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF} - (no file) O2 - BHO: TGTSoft Explorer Toolbar Changer - {C333CF63-767F-4831-94AC-E683D962C63C} - (no file) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_04\bin\jusched.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DAEMON Tools-1033] "C:\Program Files\D-Tools\daemon.exe" -lang 1033 O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [00THotkey] C:\WINDOWS\System32\00THotkey.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TFncKy] TFncKy.exe /Type 10 O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IPA_PROXY_SETTINGS] C:\Program Files\SPACENET\Internet Page Accelerator\BRW_Setup.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [avast!] C:\PROGRA~1\ALWILS~1\Avast4\ashDisp.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DU Meter] C:\Program Files\DU Meter\DUMeter.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [smtpsrv] C:\Program Files\1st SMTP Server\SMTPServer.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ashMaiSv] C:\PROGRA~1\ALWILS~1\Avast4\ashmaisv.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TweakMASTER] C:\PROGRA~1\TWEAKM~1\TMTray.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SysMon] C:\windows\system32\mswkkbe32.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [xp_system] C:\WINDOWS\inetdata\services.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Spyware Doctor] "C:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor\spydoctor.exe" /Q O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [xp_system] C:\WINDOWS\inetdata\services.exe O4 - Global Startup: Service Manager.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\sqlmangr.exe O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - (no file) O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sun Java Console - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - (no file) O15 - Trusted Zone: http://www.gilat.co.id O16 - DPF: {14A3221B-1678-1982-A355-7263B1281987} - ms-its:mhtml:file://C:\foo.mht!http://82.179.166.130/e9xr2.chm::/file.exe O16 - DPF: {74D05D43-3236-11D4-BDCD-00C04F9A3B61} (HouseCall Control) - http://a840.g.akamai.net/7/840/537/2...ll/xscan53.cab O16 - DPF: {B9191F79-5613-4C76-AA2A-398534BB8999} - http://us.dl1.yimg.com/download.yaho...tocomplete.cab O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{A56F1134-B6DB-4EDA-BB43-F6712500FB88}: NameServer = 192.168.0.1,202.152.0.2 End of HijackThis Analyzer Log. |

Welcome to TSF.
Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below. Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Windows XP's search feature is a little different. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that Search system folders, Search hidden files and folders, and Search subfolders are checked. For the options that you checked/enabled earlier, you may uncheck them after your log is clean. If we ask you to fix a program that you use or want to keep, please post back saying that (we don't know every program that exists, so we may tell you to delete a program that we think is bad to keep). Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. Restart your computer. After we are finished with your log file and verified that it's clean, you may turn it back on and create a new restore point. Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Go into HijackThis->Config->Misc. Tools->Open process manager. Select the following and click Kill process for each one if they are still listed (they shouldn't be - but double check it): C:\WINDOWS\inetdata\services.exe Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any): R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://searchcentral.cc/search.php?v=4&aff=2260 R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://searchcentral.cc/index.php?v=4&aff=2260 R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.searchportal.info/10039/ F3 - REG:win.ini: run=C:\WINDOWS\inetdata\services.exe O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5321E378-FFAD-4999-8C62-03CA8155F0B3} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF} - (no file) O2 - BHO: TGTSoft Explorer Toolbar Changer - {C333CF63-767F-4831-94AC-E683D962C63C} - (no file) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SysMon] C:\windows\system32\mswkkbe32.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [xp_system] C:\WINDOWS\inetdata\services.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [xp_system] C:\WINDOWS\inetdata\services.exe O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - (no file) O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sun Java Console - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - (no file) O15 - Trusted Zone: http://www.gilat.co.id O16 - DPF: {14A3221B-1678-1982-A355-7263B1281987} - ms-its:mhtml:file://C:\foo.mht!http://82.179.166.130/e9xr2.chm::/file.exe Delete the following Files/Folders (delete folders if no filename is specified) according to their directory (if none, just do a search for them) and delete them if they exist: C:\WINDOWS\inetdata\ C:\windows\system32\mswkkbe32.exe Reboot into Normal Mode and post a new HijackThis log file so we can make sure it's clean. To help prevent future spyware installations/infections, please read the Anti-Spyware Section and use the tools provided. Make sure to update Windows and Internet Explorer at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.
