Need Help cmd.exe file deleting all my files
I have win xp media center
I got a new verizon modem because my other one stopped working. I couldn't get the software to load right so I decided to remove verizon DSL file from the add/remove programs and when I did it said I had to restart computer to finish. when I did a black box popped open with system32\cmd.exe and started deleting all my files--like my pics, mp4 songs, doc files, bookmarks etc everything under my log in name. folders still there but nothing in them. So my question is can I get my files back and fix the problem. Thank for any help Brian |
