Win2000 - Spyware, Adware - going nowhere!
Can someone out there please help me?!
I'm not a computer genius but I realised that my new system was playing up when my browser kept going to porn sites, the task manager was telling me that the CPU was running at 100% and i was in pop-up hell!  I have downloaded numerous virus checkers and firewalls and have rectified some problems but the pc still doesnt seem right! eg Avast Anti-virus, Trend PC-cillin, Zone Alarm, etc. What can i do to sort the problem out please? |

Hello, and welcome to TSF!
Please download HijackThis. Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there. Run a scan and save the log file. Post the whole log file here. Do not fix anything since most of them listed there are harmless (some are system required). This program will help us determine if there is any spyware/malware on your computer. BTW, I am moving your post to Security. |
