i cannot delete it.
how should i try to delete it?
via safe mode, or command prompt?

ty for the help,
so do i have anymore malware?
or everything is clean.

yes muistu is a old account, but it`s inactive....

as said, got pc problems and i reinstalled windows, and this account was in the old install of the windows.
when u reinstall windows it doesn`t delete the documents settintgs seems soo.
soo this account cannot be used at all, i didn`t even create it in this sesion of the windows.
don`t know if u understand my right.

Please run dss.exe again, but use these instructions:

Click Start>Select 'Run' - then copy/paste the following text into the run box & click OK

"%userprofile%\desktop\dss.exe" /config

In the dialog box that appears:

Under the Main Log heading--Uncheck everything
Under the Extra Log heading-- 'Check' User Profiles
Click Scan!

The extra.txt will open up in Notepad. Copy/paste the contents of that report in your next reply.

Since my focus and that of this section of the forum are malware, I think it's best letting the folks in the Windows XP Support section help you with this remaining issue.

1. Begin a new thread in that section, and I would suggest entitling it Deleting Old Acct Folders

2. Include only the contents of the extra.txt that you just posted for me, and the screenshot of what happens when you try to delete that folder.

3. Phrase your first post as such:

when i acces the folder "muistu" in documents settings it opens to me a passport create account
or if i press on any hidden folder in folder muistu it opens to me the login mesenger :(

I cannot delete this folder. muistu is my old account.

the electricity stopped working 2 times in a row, and the electricity were off, and then it came back, i started computer, and when it was at loading windows screen, it turned off again, and then it just didn`t wanted to enter windows so i formated.

i reinstaled a fresh copy of windows, but i didn`t deleted anything.and this account was in the old install of the windows.
