Spam email sent out from my computer

My internet has been temporarily shut off twice due to my computer sending out spam emails. I've run AVG Anti-spyware on my computer and gotten rid of all the viruses, but my computer continues to send out spam.
Insight told me it could be a bot or virus hiding in my registry and I'm not sure if you all can help, but here is my HJ Log.

Re: Spam email sent out from my computer

Hello and welcome to the TSF

I cannot see anything in the log to cause the spam emails. However, you do have some other items that needs to be taken care of.

Please go to Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and remove the following:

Seekmo
Viewpoint

Scan with HijackThis and put a checkmark against the following entries, if present:

O2 - BHO: Seekmo /fleok=1D8A83A5C4E4157C91AA692A1FBB39BFE4976E26CAEDA120180A196D6093 - {07AA283A-43D7-4CBE-A064-32A21112D94D} - C:\Program Files\Seekmo\bin\10.0.341.0\HostIE.dll
O3 - Toolbar: Seekmo - {07AA283A-43D7-4CBE-A064-32A21112D94D} - C:\Program Files\Seekmo\bin\10.0.341.0\HostIE.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SeekmoOE] C:\Program Files\Seekmo\bin\10.0.341.0\OEAddOn.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SeekmoSA] "C:\Program Files\Seekmo\bin\10.0.341.0\SeekmoSA.exe"
O7 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System, DisableRegedit=1
O7 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System, DisableRegedit=1
O23 - Service: Viewpoint Manager Service - Viewpoint Corporation - C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Common\ViewpointService.exe

Close all browsers and click on "fix checked".

===================================

Using Windows Explorer (right click on Start, click on Explore), navigate and delete the following folders, if present:

C:\Program Files\Seekmo
C:\Program Files\Viewpoint

===================================

Restart your computer.

===================================

Download ATF Cleaner by Atribune and save it to your Desktop.
Double click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Check the boxes to the left of:

Windows Temp
Current User Temp
All Users Temp
Temporary Internet Files
Prefetch
Java Cache

The rest are optional - if you want to remove the lot, check "Select All".

Finally click Empty Selected. When you get the "Done Cleaning" message, click OK.

If you use the Firefox or Opera browsers, you can use this program as a quick way to tidy those up as well.

Firefox :
Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

Opera :
Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

When you have finished, click on the Exit button in the Main menu.

For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu

===================================

Perform an online scan using Internet Explorer with Panda ActiveScan
  • Click on located at the bottom of the page.
  • A "pop up" window will appear. Please ensure that your pop up blocker doesn't block it
  • Enter your e-mail address, country, and state & click "Free Online Scan" The download of the 8 MB Panda's ActiveX control will take place
Begin the scan by selecting [list][*] If it finds any malware, it will offer you a report.[*] Please ignore any entry it finds and the offer to buy the program to remove the entry, as we will address this later. [*] Click on then click and post back the contents please.

==================================

Please post back a fresh HijackThis log and the Panda Online scan results.

Hi,

where I went to start explore to delete
I cannot understand the above statement. You may have tried to delete the folder rather than remove the application. Click on Start, then click on Control Panel and then click on Add or Remove Programs. Find Viewpoint in the pade, and click on "remove". When done, find Seekmo and click on "remove".

How is the system running now?
