Hello and welcome to TSF

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad in order to assist you when carrying out the following instructions.

I see that you are using an outdated version of Hijack This. Please get the latest version here or use the link in my signature, click and download the program.

Please download LSPFix and save it to a permanent folder. It is highly unlikely that you will need this program, but it is important to have it on hand in case you do. There is a very small chance that after removing New.Net, you may lose your internet connection. If this occurs, close all windows and run the LSPfix tool that you downloaded. Check "I know what I'm doing" and select all entries related to New.Net. Then click >> and remove all entries related to New.Net. Click "Finished".

Click > Start > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs and uninstall the following programs:

New.Net
WinAd Client

Open Hijack This and click on Scan. Check the following entries (make sure you do not miss any)

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://213.159.117.134/index.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://213.159.117.134/index.php

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [New.net Startup] rundll32 C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~1.DLL,NewDotNetStartup -s

Please remember to close any open windows and browsers before fixing any entries.

In Hijack This, hit the Fix checked button.

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows). Delete the following Files/Folders if they still exist.

C:\WINDOWS\System32\jihoyo.exe<<< This File
C:\WINDOWS\System32\systime.exe<<< This File
C:\Program Files\Winad Client<<< This Folder
C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\<<< This Folder

Reboot your System in normal mode.

Run an online scan at Trend Micro or RAV Antivirus.
Please select the “autoclean” option when using Trend Micro.

Please post a fresh Hijack This log so that we can check if your system is clean.

I do not subscribe to threads so please PM me the link when you have posted your new log. Please do not post your log in the PM, only the link

My System

You have a virus. If you don't update Windows you will most likely get infected again. Get the patch for it here.

Make sure to update Windows and Internet Explorer at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.

Go to My Computer->Tools->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled. Also make sure that the System Files and Folders are showing/visible also.

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. Restart your computer. After we are finished with your log file and verified that it's clean, you may turn it back on and create a new restore point.

Run an online virus scan at TrendMicro or RAV Antivirus. Select the Autoclean option if you use TrendMicro.

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up).

Make sure to close any open browsers. Check and fix the following in HijackThis if they still exist (make sure not to miss any):

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://213.159.117.134/index.php
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.google.co.in/
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://213.159.117.134/index.php
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://213.159.117.134/index.php
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = http://213.159.117.134/index.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page_bak = http://google.co.in/
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = http://213.159.117.134/index.php
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinStart001.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\System\WinStart001.EXE -b
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [MSN Messanger] msnmsng.exe
O16 - DPF: {88D969C0-F192-11D4-A65F-0040963251E5} (XML DOM Document 4.0) - file://C:\TempEI4\EI40_\msxml4.cab
O16 - DPF: {B8C256C0-D47A-4EBD-A4D1-AD3C3C9EA5B0} (RMTrack ActiveX Controls (logo)) - http://www.rmtrack.com/rmtcpyu/CaptureCtl.cab

Delete the following Files/Folders (delete folders if no filename is specified) according to their directory (if none, just do a search for them) and delete them if they exist:

C:\WINDOWS\System\WinStart001.EXE
msnmsng.exe

Reboot into Normal Mode and post a new HijackThis log file so we can make sure it's clean.
