About;blank - Eureeka got you you ***%$#*!!!
I've had this slippery little sucker for a couple of months and been going crazy try to exterminate it with adware killers etc, finally did it 3 days ago and its gone, i'm even sleeping at night again!.
This is what I did so it might help someone. I updated my Trend Micro virus software and it found an exe file something like abcde.exe the virus name had starter.zz in it, but could clean it or delete it, It was in windows\sytem32 folder. (This is the first time the virus software has detected this after all this time and it went crazy popping up a virus detected box every 10 secs or so). when I opened the folder I couldn't find ithe file anywhere, I tried searching the folder for *.exe and there it was, I renamed it XXX.exe and rebooted, then did the same again and deleted it-Bingo its been gone 3 days and my sanity is slowly returning, I havent had to download anything other than my virus software update. Good luck |
