Hi

I have just reinstalled my computer and it is already infected . I am having troubles with your-searcher.com and Win min. I will appreciate help on how to delete these two.

Welcome to TSF.

Make sure to update Windows and Internet Explorer at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.

Go to My Computer->Tools->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled. Also make sure that the System Files and Folders are showing/visible also.

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. Restart your computer. After we are finished with your log file and verified that it's clean, you may turn it back on and create a new restore point.

Download CWShredder and click on Fix (it will automatically fix anything it finds for you). If it asks if you want to delete a certain random file, choose No and post that filename here.

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up).

Make sure to close any open browsers. Go into HijackThis->Config->Misc. Tools->Open process manager. Select the following and click Kill process for each one if they are still listed (they shouldn't be - but double check it):

Delete the following Files/Folders (delete folders if no filename is specified) according to their directory (if none, just do a search for them) and delete them if they exist:

The result from HijachThis is a lot better although I am not sure that all problems are solved.

One dialog with a random file question popped up while using CWShredder. The file was called:
c:\windows\conscorr.exe

I did not delete the entry:

Regarding that conscorr.exe file, did you delete it also?

I would remove that 015 from the trusted zone - I just don't think it's a good idea to put anything in the trusted zones.

Restart and post hopefully your last log file.
